Not to worry, ladies (and Trent)! KALEIDOSCOPE HAS OFFICIALLY EXTENDED ITS DEADLINE TO NOVEMBER 12!

On October 20th, 2010, we will wear purple in honor of the 7 gay boys who committed suicide in recent weeks/months mostly due to homophobic abuse in their homes at at their schools. Purple represents Spirit on the LGBTQ flag and that’s exactly what we’d like all of you to have with you: spirit.

Please know that times will get better and that you will meet people who will love you and respect you for who you are, no matter your sexuality.

Please wear purple on October 20th.

What we have been up to this semester:

1. Attempting to get this blog up and running (still trying to get it off the ground)
2. Open Mic with Art Club and Nimbus
3. Norristown community art workshop! Last week we went over to Norristown and used old library books to make 3D collage art projects as well as personal journals!
4. Google Group — Now that Nicole is becoming a google master we are attempting to make submitting to the magazine easier as well as interactions between editors easier
5. I have also added a submit page that will make submitting to the blog even easier!
